Can you explain your rationale for each?

Hiddink, Mancini, De Boer.. even Van Gaal? Surely we've got enough ££ in the bank to entice someone of some calibre. Saying that, I do like Pardew though.

Can you explain your rationale for each? Eddie Howe doesn't need explaining, he's one of the most sort after managers in the game. I'm not sure if going to us would be a step up, more a step sideways. Big Sam gets the best out of his players and always has a solid defence. I was looking forward to his reign as England manager. De Boer - he could be risk but his playing experience & knowledge of the game could be worth it. Not given enough time at Inter to show his potential. Glen Hoodle - always been an admirer of his and been very surprised he hasn't gone back into management. He's very tactical astute and great football brain.

Eddie Howe may as well stay where he is, nothing to gain but plenty to lose by joining us. Fat Sam, as someone highlighted NickOx I think, his record is worse than APs De Boer, I flit between yes and no, only because of a lack of PL experience. In all honesty if we got him I would be happy Hoddle? A refined Curbishly, had his day, there's a reason why he hasn't worked for so long. Ten years out of the game and 13 out of the PL. His last job, Spurs he had the same win rate as AP has now 39%

Howe: had a big budget in the Championship, and has done quite well. Defensively his sides have struggled. Allardyce: check out his actual record, his team's are not that great defensively, which would mean dour football and we'd still leak goals. De Boer: an interesting choice but has he done enough? Glen Hoddle: seriously? He's not managed in ten years, and was last a coach at the train wreck that was QPR in the PL. Roger Schmidt, Eduardo Berizzo, Martin Schmidt, Christian Streich. All have done a good job at clubs similar to ours.

Not a bad call, could be worth the risk, but either way they wouldn't be around along. Originally posted by geoff

Flores - Did the business for Watford last season and massively impressed, and deserved to be retained for this season. Howe - No thanks, notoriously failed when he last left Bournemouth, before going back. Big risk, little prospect of return or improvement. Nevile and Giggs - No thanks. Neither has really shown their calibre and they're a risk rather than a benefit.
