Does anyone else feel this way once the clocks go back?

I am generally ok , I enjoy all the shops lit up for Christmas and the business of staying at home with some warming food and candles and the heating on. But the older I get I find it hard to deal with the darker nights and the lack of daylight. It feels like a heavy feeling of sadness. Someone tell me I am not the only one!

I'm living in a very depressed state having moved back from Sydney without my family to set a business up. This cold and dark has turned the depression up into hyper mode.

Yes, I get the seasonal blues. Starts in September for me as the evenings start creeping in. A low dose of happy pills keeps me in check.

With you on this one. I definitely feel a bit more twitchy since the nights drew in.

Could be the drop in your Vitamin D3 levels. Have a word with your pharmacist and try 400 - 800UI's per day - do not buy the crap that they sell online (a lot cheaper but mostly made up of 'other' ingredients), the ones fro the pharmacy are pure D3.

I love seasonal change.
clocks being dicked with is not good though, I have pretty set bed times body clock wise .
However, you get to wear clothes you've had stashed for months.
Big overcoats, change of shoes & jumpers etc.
Obviously some of you scruffs on here wont get this. fresh air.
smashing.

I am at my happiest in Autumn and Winter. Hate Summer (apart from all the solar powered women walking about). I like to go to work in the dark and get home in the dark. Wrapping up warm on a crisp morning, enjoying a hot coffee in a cold park. Lovely stuff.
