Lord's is the only international cricket venue in the world where spectators can bring alcohol into the ground.

A spectator may bring alcoholic drinks into the Ground in one of the following descriptions and quantities:

(I) under 6% ABV – 2 pints (1136 ml); or (II) between 6% and 18% ABV – 75cl.

So take two pints with you.

Despite coming from Surrey I will be supporting Warks as I don't like the way that smaller counties spend time and money bringing through young cricketers only to have rich clubs like Surrey buy them up afterwards.

They aren't the only ones as Notts and Lancs are as bad but as a Durham supporter I feel particularly aggrieved with Surrey this season for pinching our two best batsmen

Surrey have got quite a few players who have never played for another county.

Burns, Roy, Ansari, Curran x 2, Dernbach, Meaker off the top of my head.

Burns started life in Hants second eleven.

Next season Surrey will have Stoneman, Borthwick, Foakes, Burns, Batty and Footitt in their team who all started their cricketing livee at other counties.

In 1982 the Nat West Final was between the same two teams. As a 15 year old I had gone to the semifinal at the Oval where Sylvester Clarke bowled Middlesex out for 80. I agonized as to what to do for the final as Palace were playing away to Rotherham on the same day.
In the end I went to the football, which I think in the end was the right call. Surrey won a very one sided final by 9 wickets, whereas Palace who were trailing after 12 seconds! and 2 down after ten minutes, pulled 2 goals out of nowhere (Mabbutt and Hinshelwood)in the last 10 mins to come away with a 2-2 draw.
Surrey to win tomorrow.
