If she had died from 'pneumonia' does that means Trump has a walkover into the Presidency or is it a postponed election or an emergency democrat candidate like Monica Lewinsky stepping in to save the day?

I was thinking that myself.

Does Bernie get a call up to the majors?

Trump's going to win. Scary.

I don't think he will. I'm not even sure he thinks he will, or wants to.

The Party gets to select a new candidate. The process is a bit different for both parties of how they do this is different for republican or democrats.

The question would be what happens if they die between the election (4th Nov) and the 15th confirmation, which is pretty grey. After being confirmed it seems the vice president steps up. But before that, its a very grey area.

Really?

I think both are poor candidates, but as someone who isn't an American, I think she's largely going to just p*ss off the more right and left of the US. Where as what I've heard coming out of Trump includes a) unconstitutional decisions b) war crimes c) religious sectarianism d) a lack of understanding of US law and politics.

But I don't think she's more scary than him. But the US really should be concerned about how its come down to a choice between a woman linked to scandal after scandal and a man who clearly has no idea of what the president actually does.

Either way, the US and the rest of the world, will suffer which ever candidate wins. But one, based on their rhetoric, can make the world a lot worse for everyone else.

Agreed. Two really bad candidates, she is just about the lesser of two evils. Having said that, I really do reject almost all of what the Democratic Party stand for. If I was American I'd find it very tough to vote for either, would think about voting Libertarian if the leader wasn't so stupid that he didn't know what Aleppo was.

I hope they would still go with the VP candidate. Sod going through all of this again.

He'd be Kaine and able.

Yep, ''scandal after scandal'' and she's still in the running? That to me is scary. As for Trump, i've no doubt that he knows exactly what to expect and will toe the line accordingly.

If the President held the real power then i'd agree. Personally i believe that whoever is appointed is merely a puppet.
But i may be wrong.

As Trump has previously suggested that his 2nd ammendment supporters might want to 'do something about' Hillary's attitude towards guns, he's no doubt hoping that she succumbs to this unfortunately timed illness to save them the trouble.
