Just seen another thread which asked if you could be 18 again which career path you would take and it got me thinking...

What are people's biggest life regrets. I know there's bound to be someone who pops up and says life's to short for regrets etc but come on, on reflection what would you do or not to differently if you had the chance.

When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC

I regret hurting people, some lovely people who didn't deserve it, especially my mum.

On the flip side there's a few people I should probably have hurt but didn't

I'd have

-started my hobby (acting & singing & poncing about) when I left school & not waited till I was 40

-found a worthwhile job that benefits people & not just makes profit for the man (hippy)

-arranged that holiday with my cousin before it was too late

-booked the cinema tickets for Stalker when I heard about it on Wednesday instead of waiting till this morning when they'd (predictably) sold out

Just looked up what DMT is - still confused by your post.... ??

Mine are mainly around not having the guts to talk to females until I was about 30 and the missed opportunities - not sure why they haunt most blokes but they just do.

Not going Contracting again and earning double what I do now........ maybe I'll do it this year.

Not belting some bloke who hacked me down in a Dads football match and instead shaking his hand.

Not belting some bloke who deliberately knocked my ex-wife's wine glass over after he claimed I knocked their bottle of wine over.

Not belting quite a few people who deserved it over the years.

Not buying houses at the peak of the market and selling them at the low. (If anyone wants to make a massive profit on a car or a house just wait until I'm buying or selling).

Regret marrying the first time around but have got 3 good kids out of it and a much younger wife.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Well, I've had a few, but not enough for me to speak about.
