Every protest or fashionable cause, there she is, protesting and grinning like a Cheshire cat. Another politically correct lovey who just loves to flout her liberal credentials. A truly loathsome woman who also thinks that Britain is a 'misery laden and cake filled little island'.

When I hear Thompson lecturing the rest of us about Syrians and how we should be taking them in by the ship load I'd like her to put five or six large families of them in and put them up in her own house/s and see how keen she is to support them with her own money. Of course the rest of us humble peasants must all bow to her superior knowledge because she is enlightened and righteous whilst everyone else are just foaming at the mouth racists and little Englanders who are there to be patronised and belittled

Well unlike me she probably hasn't got a broken foot and laid up with a daily copy of the newspaper with access to a laptop and too much time on her hands.
By everyone else I guess you mean the attention seeking bull5h1ters that crop up on social media everytime somebody famous dies and Ms Thompson herself who I have started threads about? Hardly everyone else is it. Do you have a sense of proportion or are you deliberately seeking attention yourself by being sanctimonious and contrarian?

I think it's very true to say she is guilt ridden. She is like most celebrities who seem to get off on telling us what to do and what we should be thinking, but I doubt she would be affected by or inconvenienced by the causes that she champions. By endorsing mass immigration, staying in the EU and stopping an exciting new source of energy such as fracking she will not be affected in any shape or form so her stupidity doesn't have any consequences for her, but for the average man/woman in the street such as ourselves there is.
I hope she's happy when we're having power cuts and over run by unfettered immigration.
