Friday: Muse I feel so lucky not to have tickets, I think I'll be avoiding broadcast TV that weekend just in case I accidently catch some coverage. Has there ever been a less depressingly poor top slot line up. I quite like Adele, but its hardly the stuff of festival headlines for a rock festival. That's like putting Leonard Cohen on at a rave.

I never thought they would be a situation where I'd say 'Nah f**k it, I'd rather see Art Garfu*kall, ZZzzzz Top and ELO. Its a sad day when very aged at its time average f**king prog rock seems like a good idea. F**k it I'd rather see Wizard than f**king Coldplay.

Be careful you don't accidently catch coverage whilst switching channels. Kids these days, ffs.

The headline acts are boring and predictable, but some of the other acts I like ; eg. PJ Harvey, Kurt Vile, New Order, Gregory Porter.... hopefully tv coverage will focus less on the ' big names '.
