Good news:

I think any man wearing red or pastel coloured trousers should be sent to Kandahar or Aleppo.

Furthermore, these so-called 'hipsters' should be eunchised and removed from the gene pool. w***ers.

...Kandahar, Aleppo and possibly Peckham? Never even realised they were "posh". If the bottom falls out of the red trouser market there could be a few bargains to be had. The Plebs (with me amongst them) could all be investing in them. Might look good with a blue Michael Portillo jacket on match days!

Denial is not just a river in Egypt!

We might be south London plebs but it will be a cold day in hell before I don a pair of red leg coverings.

I would urge you either wear a good pair of khaki or blue chinos or a Donegal Tweed suit to Palace matches.

Unless you're in a rock band or its part of a uniform, red trousers are unacceptable on a man.

Same goes for beards on men under 30. As for sending them to Kandahar, haven't the people of Afghanistan suffered enough.

We should just drop them in the artic circle, near polar bear migration patterns, and save Nova Scottia from its increasing problem of Polar Bears

To be fair, I was thinking selfishly and yes, you are right, the people of Kandahar and Aleppo have suffered enough and don't deserve a bunch of Hooray's being dumped on them.

On second thoughts, sending them to live in the shanty towns of greater New Delhi would be more fitting. Let's see how these arseholes can function there.

Trousers ought to come in two colours - black and blue. Everything else is the behaviour of a frou frou pranny and ought to warrant a punch to the back of the skull.

Come and live in Bristol - the elected Mayor, George Ferguson is a classic red trouser pratt.

He has imposed Regional Parking Zones (RPZ's) all over the City together with cycle lanes, metrobus routes and other initiatives all designed to make Bristol greener he says, but for the rest of us it feels like a war on the motorist. The City is gridlocked with roadworks as his plans unfold.

None of this was on his original mandate.

If he isn't voted out this May I will be very surprised and not that surprised if he ends up being thrown off the suspension bridge!

Don't own a pair but a bit of colour is a good thing. Everyone wears Black or dark blue....liven it up!

I agree, but colour ought to be restricted to above the waist garments.

(I'm not being entirely serious, I'm not really suggesting I ought to dictate fashion to anyone!)

Oh Dear !

I have trousers of that hue and similar which I sometimes wear with a casual jacket. An old chap once remarked about my "Slacks and sports jacket" !!!!

As they say "Fashion is in one era and out the other" !

If this is your view, I suggest that you move to San Francisco and live with people who are more suited to your views and lifestyle choice, for example hippies, beatniks, flamboyant homosexuals and the like.

This is Britain and we dress properly.
