In the states to watch the third fight between these two legends in Houston, Texas. Also looking forwards to Kimbo Slice fighting. It seems to me boxing is in recent immediate years has had a re insurgence. However, generally it is in a decline. MMA to take over boxing on do and for all soon? I personally (after many years) had changed to MMA. The shows, atmosphere, skill and fans seem better. Boxing is simply, generally, not as exciting. Agree?

MMA will never be more popular than boxing in the UK. I used to watch UFC but seeing people pinned down and their face beaten to a bloody pulp isn't entertainment for me. With elbows and knees to the head etc.

No too sure. MMA shows up and down the UK are packing out venues. Boxing isn't. MMA at the O2 sells instantly within hours. Boxing shows (apart from recent Eddie Hearn promos) couldn't draw flies. Finally boxing is virtually non existent in comparison to MMA and kickboxing apart from the UK and USA. The elbows and knees is a valid point. But, I have seen some bad bad bad cuts in boxing with systematic brain giggling shots; rattling the sprout around a skull.

I find boxing more exciting. Too much grappling and not enough striking in some MMA bouts can make it a bit boring.

I grew up with boxing and boxed myself up until I finished university however it was never really a spectator sport for me. Too many poor contests arranged just to bolster a prospects record or give a big name another pay day. Boxing's popularity in the UK recently has been down to the success of British boxers in my opinion. MMA on the other hand is captivating if you are into martial arts or combat sports. I've been watching as much as possible for many years, although I'm not sure exactly what Ken and Royce have to offer at their ages but they will give it everything they have and the rest of the card looks pretty awesome too. I have to say that despite Bellator having a reputation for attracting only the boring wrestlers that are unwanted in the UFC, they have been slowly increasing their standard of events and fighter roster.

Not the actual o2 arena which boxing does sell out. I can never see an MMA fight selling out somewhere even half the size of Wembley either. In boxing you don't repeatedly hit someone who is on the ground and unresponsive, and the fight can and should be stopped for a bad cut.

No. It's not Indigo at the O2. It's the full arena. It sells out in 24 hours. 18,000 arena tonight. It's on Spike TV in the UK tomorrow. I boxed for years but I have made the jump. MMA for me.

Joshua is a talented boxer and very marketable indeed. I should hope so. I never said it didn't sell out quickly. I just think tide is turning as the British Boxing Board of control is above its station and run by corrupt grave dodgers. Lol Mind you Kimbo Slice would sell out the O2...
