I tried to listen to this radio program for the first time this week. After 30mins I decided to never bother again. Screaming so called football 'commentators' clearly putting on the volume thinking they will impress but having the opposite effect. That's nothing to say about the repetition I heard in just 30 mins, some parts repeated 3-4 times. I really don't understand how anyone can waste their time with this rubbish. How do they get funding to use up such valuable air time?

Never listen to Adrian Durham's Drivetime unless you like hearing moronic northerners and gullible Londoners of big teams lose it. Any Palace subject in the news gets very few callers and is one of a few subjects or gets dropped. Some of the chat later is pretty good though. Sportsbar and the one before that when they talk about broader football issues. Never listen to another team's commentary. When you watch the game later on highlights you'll realise how exaggerated it is. EDIT: Hawksbee isn't too bad but Andy Jacobs is the mumbling old grandad. "Stop being so blah bore waffle Jose Mourinho and get on with doing your job, waffle, bore." Edited by Rudi Hedman (10 Feb 2016 7.59pm)

I can't stand Collymore on it. What's the point of having a phone in talk show if you don't let anyone else speak? I like talksport in general but it's very repetitive after about 20 minutes.

Aren't all 'rolling' news programmes like this? LBC particularly, although it is occasionally interspersed with apoplectic frothing from various taxi drivers.

Jacobs is not too bad but Hawksbee could be any old git off plenty of sofas in SE England. Very true whenever he asks for views from Palace fans he's lucky if one person rings in. His show really is The Sun of radio......strangely I listen quite often
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

Not what's on it but the fact they deserve it and keep it going because of their TS Drivetime anger.

You don't understand the concept of commercial radio ? Of course I do and that was my point. Surely companies will only pay for their ads if there is a decent audience listening to the radio broadcast. I can't see too many people bothering to tune in to this terrible program as its content is so very small (due to huge repetitiveness) and any content remaining is of the worst quality.

The tabloid journos on Sunday mornings on Sky talking about Van Haal/Jose/Roman/Wenger/Man City on repeat? If you ever get the chance to listen to Dietmar Hamann on TS, he's quite good. So is Danny Murphy. Does anyone have any recommendations?
