Scary or what?

Most commentators seem to be adamant that North Korea have managed to test a Nuclear Device based on the evidence of "Earthquake" type sensations on or near the border with China.

Thoughts?

Observations?

Worries?

It's their fourth test Hoof. Where have you been?

Forget the nuclear stuff. This is what blew me away recently. 150,000 capacity. That's what we should be aiming for at Selhurst. They even painted the seats the right colour.

This one appear to have been successful and they've upped the ante.

You are in a strange mood today, laughing off armageddon and condoning mass rape by Muslims?

I'm not worried. We're out of their range.

You are confusing 'condoning sex offenders' with 'comparing sex offenders'. I have done the latter. But it computes wrongly in those of a certain mind. I know that. Why do you think I do it? Just one day maybe the mist will clear for those who have irrational grievances against an entire people.

Perhaps they are building stealth submarines to carry their missiles? Probably less of a challenge than developing nuclear warheads?

They wish. North Korea and stealth don't exactly go together.

I very much doubt they could even develop a sub that the west couldn't detect, let alone afford it and build it.

North Korea testing another nuke is somewhat less scary on an overall level than our dear Saudi friends' latest shia-murdering shenanigans.

For now...

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

One of the concerning, unknown elements here is that North Korea has been working on making a nuke small enough to put on a ballistic missile. If they can do / have done that, the world just got a lot scarier.

However, if North Korea hadn't been testing ballistic missiles for a while now, we wouldn't have this fantastic piece of Daily Show reportage, from the golden era of Stewart and Colbert. [Link]
