Barbara Windsor made a Dame.. With all due respect what for??

Starred in the Carry on Films which lets face it didn't take the greatest acting skills to play her part.

Then starred in Eastenders for years which if I'm honest showed her up for the poor actress she is is..

Who decides these honours??

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Labour politicians and supporters are up in arms about Lynton Crosby's knighthood - this is the guy that masterminded the Tories stunning election victory last May.

As far as I'm concerned he deserves it.... because otherwise we might have had the Chuckle Brothers, Ed Miliband and Ed Balls running the country! Imagine that?

What about a knighthood for the bloke who nominated Jeremy Corbyn as a candidate for Labour leader thereby ensuring the Tories remain in power beyond 2020 - surely that deserves an award for services to politics?

How dare you Sir!

It took great skill to fling that bra in "Carry On Camping" and leave her topless!]

Not as much effort as it took Hattie Jacques to magic some headwear on when she was hatless at the beginning in the clip above. Now that's Dame material!

Remembered to take out your subscription to the Daily Mail for 2016? I imagine it gives you lots of hilariously witty insight such as this!!

Ahh the old daily mail jibe.... sorry mate Bert the Head, Epsom's answer to Karl Marx has a monopoly on that insult on here and you'll need his permission to use it.

Labour supporters have short memories as I seem to recall Harold Wilson giving a peerageto his buddy and raincoat manufacturer and most people of a certain age remember Lord Gannex
