Either he is a liability for signing something he didn't read or he's a liability because he believes it, secretly or otherwise.

This along with Red Ken yesterday. Labour not doing a very good job of convincing people they can defend the country.

So Labour would disarm the police, get rid of our intelligence service, get rid of our nuclear deterrent and allow all the IS foot soldiers to creep in among a sea of refugees.

London would become a IS stronghold under these loonies, I suppose Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser anyway

Met McDonnell on a couple of occasions. Always on the side of the worker, hardworking and a tireless campaigner.
That said, he hasn't done himself any favours here.

I suspect that he is lieing through his teeth on this. Being photographed with it and then saying 'he didn't agree with it its contents but agreed with its principles'! Typical politician spin.

When will the lefties realise that the lot currently running Labour are the same bulls*** merchants as the rest of the career politicians in the system. Their only difference is in style.

You can only trust Farage to tell the truth.

You were doing so well until the last line, or did I miss the irony?

Corbyn & McDonnell should come out and say that actually, a lot of the things they signed up to in the past just aren't feasible. Certainly in the short to mid term. However what they will do is concentrate on the things that they can change. Otherwise they will have this s*** going on until the next election (if they last that long)

Being on the fringe of an opposition party is very different to being the leader. They both need to realise that (even Diane Abbott does)

And Nick, McDonnell is on the side of the worker. Is that the man who sweeps a factory floor? a nurse? a teacher? a middle manager? CEO? Business owner? what is a worker? When does the support stop? what is the benchmark that means people like McDonnell consider you worthy? Do they not all work hard albeit in different ways?

What a moron.

Hopefully this stint of exposure will mean they don't even get elected to return to their backbench cosiness, after giving up this charade of being the shadow cabinet.

I don't really have a problem with his views, their his views, what I don't like is the trying to worm out of them. Its fine to support disarming the police or devolving MI-5 - its a democracy and all views should be freely expressed and discussed, without resorting to rhetorical nonsense.

However, a politician who either supports something without knowing what it is, or doesn't stand by his views - even if its to admit that they did hold those views but in the light of Paris, they have reconsidered their view, is a c**t.

The hate for Corbyn and his ilk is interesting, I don't think I've seen that much spite against a leader since Thatcher.

Good article on the media's almost vitriolic treatment of Corbyn, McDonnell et Al.
