Saw on the news today, today's the day they went back to the future in the film.

Of all the forecasts made, I bet no one saw the headlines of the day being about the Queen holding a banquet in honour of the Chinese leader and a multi billion Pound agreement being announced of the Chinese joining the French to build the UK nuclear programme.

Fact is often stranger than fiction.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

They were right about Palace getting into Europe though.

Come to think of it, not sure if that was in Back To The Future 2 or a dream I had.

Average film about a man almost knobbing his mother, followed by increasingly s**tier sequels.

For a less positive outlook, the Back to the Future essentially states that all outcomes are predetermined and that free will is an illusion. Only those capable of time travel have the capacity for free will, in so much as they can travel back in time to create changes.

Everyone else is otherwise acting out a clockwork play.

Maybe depends on your age but I grew up the films and could quite happily watch them whenever they’re on the box. Definitely iconic.

The 80’s gets slated for quite a lot but the big films from that era are unbeatable.

The flip side of that though is that you have no responsibility for your actions if they are predetermined. Therefore, knob your mum all you want, it was always going to happen.

Back to the Future was a decent 80's film but if you want a better prediction of the future, read 1984.

It was a good film but it was certainly no 'Big'!

Can somebody remove this post and replace it with some alternative truths?
