If you're looking for the 'good guys' out there, I think it will be a long and fruitless search. There's only the the horrible, the barbaric, the scum, the loonies, oh, and the civilians who sit in the middle getting killed by all of the above.

I've posted this picture many times before.. but it is so apt. The middle east has been a hotbed of violence, corruption, squalor and confusion for centuries. They're dead, or hardened by now. Civil war never has moderates after the first year or so of savagery.

But only this morning the paper was telling me about russians bombing the 'moderate' rebels, are you saying this is untrue?
