Sort of reminds me of the bit in Animal Farm when the pigs start walking on two legs and acting undemocratically. "..... some are more equal than others" Poor fella, it hurts, but the Animal Rights Activists knew what was best for that puppy .........

I appreciate not a great deal of detail but I'd be more concerned that the condition you would not expect a dog to live in are o.K. for a human and that they can house a dog but not the man.

I always used to think when I saw a homeless person with a dog " blimey mate you can barely look after yourself let alone a dog as well" . but I have since read a big issue article that its sort of encouraged , it makes them think more about getting themselves sorted and gives them responsability
