Another polarising topic. The guy is a massive cnut but I know a number of cyclists aim for their personal best on their daily journey leading them to run reds and generally ignore the rules. I saw one politely ask a female pedestrian to 'get out the fcuking way' recently. At best the traffic light was amber as by the time I'd crossed a second behind her, it was on a green man. Regularly in the City you're in danger if you cross a road while cars a stationary but cycles have cut down the side. Maybe I've missed any sort of campaign to promote not being a cnut when on a bike. In fact all such cycle safety material seems to focus on motor vehicles taking care around cyclists. Presumably this is because no one would dare publish any advise that would discourage cycling. Knowing that the car is legally at fault by default doesn't help this sort of mentality and there is a clear absense of any regulation whereby a cyclist is at fault for any incident involving a pedestrian. Pehaps now I should revert to driving everywhere as it's safer than walking.

She didn't need to say anything to him, then swears at him as she thought having a camera on her head would mean he wouldn't react to it. It's way over the top from him but more and more cyclists are getting themselves into situations where they think they can either dictate to people, or agressively react to minor incidents because they're recording everything.

Few thoughts on the subject of Cyclist. Motorist are easily traceable - registration numbers - DVLA records etc. Cyclists are anonymous - could be anyone under the helmet and behind the shades.

I don't doubt that if you're anticipating something happening you're heading towards inviting it on occasions. Strange mentality. Also ironic that this is their own form of insurance in the event of accidents involving motorists who legally have to be insured. Unfortunately a helmet cam doesn't cover a driver hit by a cyclist. Nearly every day I see cyclists run the red light at the clock tower in Brighton near where I work. One chap nearly hit me whilst I crossed the road and despite my anger I quite politely shouted "mate, it's a red light". He turned back over his shoulder and yelled "F*CK OFF YOU F*CKING C**T". He was quite an average looking middle aged man. I couldn't believe it. After months of this sort of thing, it felt like a triumph when one guy went right through in front of a police car. The policeman got out and got him to stop saying "Sir, do red lights mean anything to you?". The cyclist went "Yeeeesss" like a petulant 14 year old. I didn't stick about but I have a few mates in the police force and they said the coppers will have loved slapping an on the spot fine on him....something he might have gotten a slapped wrist for if he hadn't tried to bait the policeman! It's a similar situation to when a women, old person or even a weedy bloke gives it the big one (usually after they've done something wrong too) from inside their car when they'd absolutely s*** themselves if the other person got out, or were in any other face to face scenario.

I've given a few arsehole cyclists a hefty shove on several occasions, with varyingly entertaining results.

In general, people seem to think its acceptable to give "w***er" signs, stick the middle finger up, etc, and expect no consequences. Well, with a lot of people, there will be consequences.

I'm a road cyclist .Vespa rider and car driver when I'm on my bike I use the same rules as I would on my scooter not to ride in the gutter nor ride in the middle of the road .i know we can ride 2 abreast but why do it when you know there's a que of traffic behind you so annoying and they look behind and see the traffic build up that's my only gripe with some idiotic cyclists

Being a 6'5 20 stone rugby player, used to love being called out in my little Corsa and the look on their faces when I unfolded out of it!
