What's your opinion?

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

I think its getting better but in todays social media/tele comms society we just hear a lot more bad things much sooner than via traditional methods.

If I'm like the vast majority who only care about what's going on in their own "castle" then it's better.

However, I'm not and it's not.

£500,000k for a small-ish flat in a pretty run down/ half gentrified hole near Streatham tells us we are totally on top of things.

The world is in a very bad place:

Economic strain, Iran with Nuclear weapons, mass migration due to civil war, Climate change including year upon year of drought, deforestation, massive pollution of the oceans, species extinction, mushrooming human population growth, the running out of oil and other fossil fuels...

The occasional water system and an expensive flat in London is not a better world.

Wake up, the place is f*"ked

The end is nigh. There are many similarities to the last days of the Roman Empire. Definitely a fin-de-siècle feel about the place.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Certainly a lot of fiddling going on - in all senses of the word.

It could be a whole lot better than it is. But there are too many greedy folk about. The world is fcuked, and we are the problem.
