My local club Worthing FC have been taken over and after nearly going to the wall mid season are now on the up. Its a great story where a paralysed former player is now investing in the club and they're laying a 3g pitch that should bring in extra income.

Anyway i know the seasons over now but next year if your local get along to the rebels if Palace are away or not playing. A few pints whilst watching the game is a big selling point for me, the football under Adam Hinshelwood is pretty good and you can always have a beer and a chat with the players in the bar after.

He did, been Worthing boss for about 18 months now. His dad comes along to most home games as well.

Was he any good? Presumably he was out on loan as he didn't make many appearances for Worthing last season.

Matt Piper coaches my 7 year ols son, and always has time to speak to him at the matches, seems like a nice guy. My son really likes him.

I might well attend this fixture as my home is not too far removed from Worthing.Perhaps I will meet up with someone I know who has joined the new 'Board'.

Burgess Hill Town - Now there's a club which has made terrific progress in recent seasons on and off the pitch. What a great season last campaign. I have visited the 'Green Elephants Stadium' a few times !
