Yup everyone is potless and need extra dough from hmg. Funny how summer holiday bookings are through the roof.

They are indeed, the firm I use all the time have just been on the Beeb saying they are swamped with bookings.

I don’t get it. Arnt we in the biggest recession for 40 years with rail, post, nhs etc wanting above inflation rises. Watch someone come with proof that not one of the aforementioned trades have booked a holiday.
It’s a bit like man made only climate change….. all bollox

I don't know and I wasn't making a political point.

It does appear though that the travel industry is bouncing back, the holidays that my company specialize in aren't cheap 2 weeks in Benidorm either.

[Link] Hitachi 43 Inch 43HK6200U Smart 4K UHD HDR LED Freeview TV £199.99 if available locally. I can't comment on the model itself, have have had a decent Hitachi TV in the past.

If you can go £100 more, there's a well reviewed Samsung QLED here [Link]

The problem with reviews is they rarely seem acceptable. I go with whichever has the most 4 and 5 stars. Some people are never happy with anything they buy tbh so always put bad reviews.

Not bad advice to be fair. I often looks at the 2-4 star reviews. Any gushing praise or complete writing off of a product often has more to it than just giving an opinion. Best to take a look at customer reviews and those from respected outlets as well as friends to get a broad view.

No we aren't. We aren't even in recession yet, but probably soon will be, having been (as usual) talked into one by the doom-laden media.
