He was a very funny man. Not a comedian as such, but clever with words and a sharp observer of politicians and their behaviour. A good, long life. Thanks for making us laugh at the expense of others. RIP.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
