The answer is 'yes' of course. But if you disagree please say why.

I followed Swindle's Palace career from beginning to end. In his early days he didn't look that promising. I do remember reading some programme notes written by Big Mal when he said that DS just needed to play with more confidence, and, indeed, that happened and he turned into a useful striker.

As for Mateta, I don't think he lacks confidence, but seems to me his performances are a bit hit and miss. One moment I think he looks good and then a bit hapless. He seems to be very much in favour with Viera but I can't help wondering if in the long run we'd be getting a better return from Edouard if he was given the same game time as JPM.

Could be a case of us getting above our station ;

Flanagan and Allen an upgrade on Walsh and Swindlehurst?

Think we would have been better off with the later

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn
