Sakho left Liverpool because his head wasn't there, something Klopp wasn't prepared to put up with. Essentially, the same story with us although given that we don't have the depth of talent Liverpool do, we were prepared to cut him more slack and put up with it. On his game, a fantastic player but will always be remembered as an underachiever. He really could have been one of the dominant centre-halves of our time. But he chose not to be and ended up as an inconsistent player to whom football wasn't the most important thing in life. Pity, but those relatively rare days when his mind was in the same stadium as his body, boy was he good.
