Looks and sounds good with some useful experience. Has worked with PV before so, all in all, yes, a good move I reckon.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Lots of coach speak in that interview with Palace TV - felt almost like a parody at times. But the Vieira link clearly crucial so there is continuity of approach there. Not quite sure how far this is relevant but interesting perhaps that his background is as a skills coach and not ex-player. Given time that could point to a change of emphasis in how training works but open question as to how that translates onto the pitch.

Very impressed he talks the talk but when he is showing them how to do stuff he can do it. I agree there is a lot of techno babble or what the equivalent of sports is but generally very positive.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
