Leicester targeted the space between Dann and PVA.Today the space is between Dann and a rookie left-back.

Also Dann has to start as our other CBs are not fit. So throw the guy a bone eh.

Never mind 90 minutes,we could play this superb City side all day with their hands tied behind their backs, and still fail to beat them.
Roy is simply clueless and the sooner he goes the better.

And if you swapped the managers the result would be the same

Predictable defeat today and as Brighton beat Leeds,I only hope that they do not end above us at the season's end.

Exactly. Don't know why that's so hard for some to see.

If we get beat at Sheff U next week can easily see us coming 17th with the rest of the pack around us not just the Weeds overtaking us.

Players improved under Roy to name a few.
Wilf - having his best goal scoring career this season
AWB - sold for 50m
Mitchell - looking a solid Ob
Schlupp - key player and we miss when he is not playing

I can't believe that Wilf is improving as a player although your point about his goal tally is unquestionable. Whether he's a better player than when Hodgson came is arguable. Whether he would have done even better under another manager we shall of course never know. I think the Man City game showed yet again that he's well off his best and I think we should let him go at the end of the season.
AW-B - you must be right.
Mitchell- I suppose so. Early days. Would that some more youngsters could have had the nod. I know it's a big step-up, but you never know unless you've given them a shout.
Schlupp- Already a Premiership winner when he arrived, if peripheral. Not sure his game has developed that much.
If I may say so, I think you write very reasonably and make a good case, but I think it's still slim pickings for someone who is supposed to be a top-class coach. And it's surely the case that some others have nose-dived. Benteke, big time.

The last time Roy made a tactical change which changed the result. Didn’t he go to three up front at Everton and Batsyuia score a late equaliser?

That's a fair point. All the more curious that Hodgson sent McCarthy rather than Batsman on when we went 2-1 down at Leicester.

Not given a few seasons it wouldn't. Two seasons of Hodgson for them and Pep for us and I reckon we'd win. I shudder to think what Roy would do to Man City. I also can't imagine what Pep would make of Dougie as Director of Football, and of our skill, technique and fitness training.
