I agree with you mate. Enough has been said on the subject elsewhere. I'd like to think we could leave the topic behind, at least until we actually know what the future holds.

What makes you think Hodgson decides who is or isn't signed? He works with the players he's given and he hasn't exactly been given much new blood in his four year tenure.

Having said that I'm not pleading for him to stay, but won't be too unhappy if he does. He's done a good job with what he's had to work with but it's now a squad that's past its sell-by date and one which won't get any better unless new players are brought in and some old ones got rid of.
