Our 160th Anniversary

I know the FA have not officially recognised our foundation date to be 1861, but the club itself have accepted it and were supposed to be planning our unofficial 160th birthday this year.

There was going to be a new 1861 crest planned and presumably other memorabilia from that year. Does anyone know what month it might be celebrated? Maybe someone who knows Steve Parish could ask him or the club directly.

Sorry to bump this thread, but i just realised looking at the link again, that the club were hoping to celebrate this anniversary somewhere near the start of the 2021/22 season. So maybe something will be announced in the next couple of months. Those new shirts with the new crest (hopefully!) will be like gold dust!!!!!

The whole point of the celebrations is that the club believes that our foundation date is 1861. The evidence is very conclusive, but the FA don't want to upset Notts County!!! None of the establishment want history to change!!!
