Scant protection in front of them of course with our ageing midfielders lacking in energy,vibrancy and pace. I would hope to see Tomkins, Mitchell and McCarthy brought in for the next two games. Question marks over Tomkins fitness but can't do worse than Dann. PVA looks like he's already left and McCarthy is decent in front of the centre backs.
