It’s not a one off bad game though. He simply doesn’t offer enough anymore. Not super quick, not overly skilful, his set pieces have gone to pot and he no longer has the licence/ confidence to take pot shots. He loves to cross but it’s pointless if it’s only Ayew in the box against two CB’s. There was a reason he was sat on the bench for most of last season so it’s surprising he’s playing every week so far this season. I’m gutted we didn’t push to get Osayi-Samuel straight after we signed Eze. After a bit of a slow start he is on form again for QPR with most successful dribbles in the championship. His contract is up at the end of the year but we may have missed the opportunity Yes it is...if we're talking about this season. He offers an outlet, he offers huge work rate...defensive support for the right back...and has chipped in with a couple of assists and a goal (from memory). Don't get me wrong...I don't think he's amazing or anything. But there are players more worthy of criticism than him.
