I'm going 2-0 Burnley.

Normally I'm positive, but every time I feel comfortable going into a game we lay a stinker.

I'm still haunted by the memory of our home match three or four years ago. I think it was the last game of the season and Burnley hadn't won a single away game. We duly did the decent thing.

Burnley's five games after us are Man City, Everton, Arsenal, Villa, Wolves. If they lose to us they could be staring down the barrel of the gun by midway through the season. How that will effect the game is anyone's guess, but I will say they have been the worst team I have seen so far this season. I expect it to be an ugly affair decided by the odd goal, with us getting it.

Newcastle have been similar to us this season and I do not expect that to be an easy game at all. Given the age of our squad and our record with injuries I think we might struggle to get a point, especially if Burnley leave us with some bruises. I think we'll lose to the toon of 2-0.

Yep and it's a Friday night game so we'll definitely lose.

Burnley - I really don't know! As others have said, depends how we start. Just hope we can do our 'front foot' thing a la Fulham and Leeds and get an early goal.

I fear there is nothing theoretical about Palace Peter!

There's the stadium redevelopment.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...
