Am I right in thinking that the Ipswich keeper just
stood there and briefly applauded the goal?

We all know what happens when we start to have high expectations. It is a very good Everton team this season who are bang in form. I’d be happy with a point.

Not a bad memory you have. Found this is an old scrapbook... “80 yards in 10 seaonds”.

I was there with my 7 year old son. It was his first game and his last as we left to live in Melbourne the following year. He has never forgotten it and is still like me a die hard Palace supporter.
He was ecstatic that we had won and beside himself when I told him we are top of the league.
Funny twist, we let the UK from our home in Ipswich having lived there for 15 years.
Sweet memories.
Of course we will win against Everton, dare I say 4-1.

Didnt we have the chance to go top of the Premier League in the Lombardo era ... won the first two games away at Leeds and Everton then played Barnsley at home... should have won... didnt... and top spot never happened and went down hill from there. Have a feeling that ex palace Neil Redfearn scored for them but that could be the memory playing tricks.
