I really can’t see Jairo or Jimmy Mc getting much of a look in next season. Jimmy’s age seemed to be catching up with him last season and his lack of pace was catching him out, same for Jairo, he is decent on the ball but his lack of pace and mobility will stop him from being a regular. He’s one of Toy’s favourites and just signed a contract extension. He’s here to stay and will definitely start the season as our first choice CM

My dream team would look something like this. Similar system to what Poch used at Spurs. Diamond, with Jairo sitting deep, flanked by Townsend (or Fergason) and PVA. Eze at the top of the diamond, with Benteke and Wilf if he stays or Ayew.
Tomkins----Sakho Townsend - Jairo - PVA McArthur - Milivoijevic Eze Benteke - Wilf/Ayew Subs: Hennessy I prefure your subs formation.

Now we are building a proper squad I suppose Roy will start using squad rotation and regular subs. With Gallager, Eze, Ferguson, and maybe more he’s gonna have to change his ways. Cahil Macartur, Ward, Sakho, will all struggle with pace and mobility in the new high speed game.
