as a team we always play better when he plays [ remember that is only my opinion ]
as for Ayew if that was Benteke most people would have been calling for his head . one good shot two my gran could have hit harder and a s**t pen and his movement is rubbish

Really like JS - great when we're playing a team that will come onto us as he's effective defensively and very helpful getting us up the pitch.

Where we have to attack a team or go one down, he is essentially useless. His passing is awful and he is very ineffective - seem to remember he made 1 successful pass in his 70 minutes on the pitch against Southampton!

Schlupp was the reason we won yesterday.

Not the sole reason - 10 other players and the subs all played their part.

I was impressed with our breakouts and with a little more composure we could have had two more.

Schlupp and Mitchell responsible for Townsend's excellent finish.

If Schlupp is to be maintained in the side, then maybe it will be Ayew who makes way for Eze. I would like to see Eze up front with Zaha in a 4-4-2.

Ayew can fight it out with Townsend for the RW slot, but if Benrahma comes they could both be out and we would have a bit of competition for all the forward spots.

It’s interesting that no-one is bemoaning Bats not playing up front at the moment. I suppose Wilf’s early season form at CF has given fans food for thought and Roy a real selection headache.

Hard to complain when you're winning, creating chances and scoring goals! Scored 4 and had 2 disallowed already in what were tough fixtures. Bats' time will come - we'll get injuries, rotation etc.

Absolutely delighted that we have genuine competition for the first time in a long time. As always, it looks like it's made everyone sharper. Zaha, Townsend and Schlupp look noticeably sharper just from having Eze and Bats around. Also refreshing to know players can go hard for 65 minutes and then have quality, fresh legs on, rather than trying to conserve.

I agree with this - If he wasn't left footed he wouldn't be a profesional football player.

Love to hear your views on
Messi and giggs.Really miss him when he's out he's quick and direct unlike most of our midfielders and chips in with the odd goal.
