Dare I ask the elephant in the room question?

Will there even be season tickets this season? I'm serious because if we are going to have limited crowds for the foreseeable future and with the risk of reintroduced lockdowns if Covid cases rise by reason of attendances at football grounds etc., how can clubs even
1. decide who can attend which games? (not ALL existing ST holders will be allowed to watch every game from when the grounds are opened up again)
2. gauge what to charge for a ST?

It may be a case of individual tickets for the first half of the season with the possibility of a half season ticket being offered to existing ST holders if restrictions are relaxed enough to allow full crowds early next year.

Total speculation on my part.

Would be interested in what others think.

I don’t even care. It’ll give me an excuse not to be bored s***less for a while. Might make Roy’s last season a bit more bearable and easier to accept for another 9 months if a chunk of it I can watch in the most suitable place. An armchair. Problem is you can switch off but sometimes that’s no bad thing. Might make only 15% of the season worth watching unfortunately.

The Holmesdale Fanatics will probably be allowed tickets before the rest of us mere supporters and no doubt find a way to all sit/stand together!

It was also great of Palace to give us a small refund for the terrible way we played towards the end of the season! If only huh!!

I have to say this was the first thing that crossed my mind.

It'll be even easier not to be bored given the TV agreements the Premier League have made. I can't find how many games we were on TV last year, but with 20 additional games next year on TV across the league we'll probably only be on about 8 times.

If fans don't return, next season will be effectively unwatched.

Makes the 'who will we sign?' discussion a bit less interesting - might not have a clue how good they are for another year!
