I was browsing the Palace website and came across the above and wondered when this first appeared on the site. I suppose my question is: 'How well does our first team squad practice this? To save you having to look it up, here's the relevant part: "Our philosophy is about six situations within the game but is primarily a possession-based approach that requires excellence in spatial awareness, outstanding movement, technical adaptability off both feet, tactical awareness and adaptability, fluidity, strength and pace of movement and a collective respect and appreciation of working with each other. I also wondered about the art of passing the ball.

If it was a school report I would mark 1,5 and 6 as ‘adequate’ and 2,3 and 4 as ‘must do better.’

I would have thought that an academy is better concentrating on the players personal developement as a player and in their learning How about, to improve technically in terms of becoming two footed ? making football fun in small sided games concentrating on ball control Maybe something technical such ass Exploiting space on the pitch I think the 6 points are a bit rigid and really players are still developing physically and mentally. More about their wellbeing. Those points seem a bit outdated to me
