This is long but it does say the final decision is still with the ref. It would be a brave referee who overruled VAR.

VAR can only be a good thing for the non glamour clubs, we might have had a few dodgy decisions of late but we have also benefited over the season,once they get it right the glam boys will have to play by the same rules as everybody else, it"s no coincidence that the same names are on the fa cup since the turn of the century, obviously money plays it"s part to but with VAR in place, we might well have been 1-0 up in the cup final a lot earlier!

True, but anything that can put a small spanner in the works is a bonus, and when VAR is ironed out, (when the motd pundits cannot defend dodgy VAR decisions any more), the glam club bias might just have to give a little, and that can only benefit the other 14 epl clubs!

Would hate to be your tv if the result mattered Baires, if we were in the bottom 5 for example!

I’m not going to complain about the decisions that went against us the other night. Every club has suffered from it and up till now we’ve been fairly fortunate with VAR but obviously our luck ran out against Man Utd. The referees need to go and look at the monitor and make the decision themselves and like someone else said they should have 30 seconds to look at it or possibly a minute max.
