Maybe we do have some top quality youth coming through. Scott Banks who we have just signed, Raymond committing to the club and a young kid called Zion Atta who has just committed to the academy. Atta is supposed to be an unbelievable talent and is tipped to be pushing for first team football before he signs a full contract. We also have some decent youngsters out on loan.

I just hope that they are given an opportunity to show what they can do. In the modern game quality young players do not have the patience to serve a 5 year apprenticeship before being allowed near the pitch. If someone comes knocking who offers playing time they will be off, so we need to do what we did with Moses, Zaha and AWB and give them a chance.
