Every chance that Wilder would have ended up on the same list as Holloway, Pulis, Pardew, Allerdyce, and De Boer. Remarkably Roy is still here, he must be doing something right!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Especially when considering the quality of what he’s had to work with. He has coached them all to their absolute best as honestly I look at their squad and think I’d rather have ours (although the shower I saw today has be reconsidering that). The difference is coaching player to be attack minded rather than rigid defensive structure Wilder shows a balance CAN be struck between the two.

Wilder said in an interview the other night that his start at Sheff Utd was not a great one while they adjusted to his ideas...securing only 1 point in his first 4 games. They went on to get 100 pts that season. Maybe we were too hasty to dump FdB?!! Also, I imagine his experiences over the last 3 seasons have allowed him to develop his style. Had he been dropped straight into the PL with our squad I wonder if it would have worked (I did actually suggest him too at the time though). I'm starting to come round to the idea of bum face Dyche if he could be persuaded to jump ship. It was quite revealing some of what he said on the Crouch podcast and i think his methods would fit in well at a club like ours.

Dyche all day long for me! Our project is exactly what he needs - having taken Burnley as far as they can go. Whilst many would not see it as a step forward - those who know about the strides taken by the club in recent years (with the Academy and stadium plans) will recognise the potential. We
