You will not be alone Willo! I start every Prem season expecting us to be relegated. It's nice to be proved wrong but one day...

If Bournemouth (v Spurs) and Villa (v Utd) lose or draw tonight we are mathematically safe.

We are on 42 pts.

They are on 27pts.

After tonight there will be 4 games left, so 12 points to play for.

Bournemouth and Villa could then only get to 39pts (40pts with a draw), therefore we would be mathematically safe.

From our point of view, it doesn't matter what West Ham or Watford do, only the teams currently in the bottom three.

It's Red and Blue that unites us

Yes we are. Villa have to play West Ham so one of them must drop points

...and West Ham play Watford, more dropped points for one or both of them.

Not only are we safe we are GUARANTEED to finish no lower than 16th. None of Norwich, Villa or Bournemouth can catch us and whoever loses the game between West Ham and Watford won't be able to catch us either. Furthermore, if they draw then neither will be abled to catch us.

Well, you say we are safe but there's always the possibility of a 10 point deduction by the Premier League if we don't continue to display our BLM banners...lol!

Mathematically safe.

Relax and chilled, smug even, not used to this at all.

Surely there must be some other disaster that can befall us, otherwise it just isn't Palace.

1. Manager leaves in a huff just before the start of the season.
2. New manager a disaster as tried to play style of football not suited to our squad
3. Palace get sold to a dodgy owner
4. Relegation followed by administration

Luckily none of these things have eve happened to us
