More a chance of Eddie Howe being future manager of Palace perhaps if Bournemouth suffer from the drop to Championship?

How good is he realistically ?

Went to Burnley and then came straight back to Bournemouth with his tail between his legs.

Yes, he took Bournemouth to the PL, but since them has been living beyond his means by a wealthy owner bank rolling sizeable transfers. Lerma was about 25m, Solanke 19m, Ake 20m etc.

He mostly definitely would not be getting that at Palace. He would have to work for his money here.

Roy signed a one year extension to his contract, taking him to June 2021. He is currently the best man for the job.
A year in football is a long time and many things can change. Why there is desire to have Dyche is baffling, he is nowhere near the class or ability of Roy.

Who out of dyche or Howe when roy goes though.
Assuming it's out of those two and why for or against each one.

If it was out of those two, then Dyche.

He has his teams more organised and seems to be able to work on a budget, very similar to Roy.

As stated, you have to wonder what Howe would do without money. I can see him staying at Bournemouth even if they go down. His stock has definately fallen.

Dyche is also nowhere near as likely to want to work for a club where he doesn't have full control of footballing matters and where he is likely to have players foisted on him whether he likes it or not.

If Parish sells out to new owners then there is a possibility of him coming but until then it is likely that we will continue taking on unemployed managers that no-one else seems to want

The last Parish appointment of an unemployed manager, nobody wanted seems to have worked out very well.
Both Dyche and Howe are very overrated and I expect will have a high buyout clause, thankfully.
