aye, kids these days don't know they're born. It was hard work supporting Palace in the 90s and 00s

Would have been even worse back in the 80s.

Back then, instead of taking to twitter you would have wrote to Jim’ll fix it!

I don't get it.
Kid goes to school and gets picked on for being a Palace fan, parent goes on social media saying how terrible he feels and the club find out about it and offer to send him a signed shirt..Really?
Am I alone in thinking what a bad life lesson that kid has just learnt?

No I’m with you on this one... Obviously I don’t condone bullying but then how bad was the bullying in question?... You could argue that wearing a Palace shirt in Leeds or anywhere up North is going to attract unwanted attention, especially with kids because let’s be honest kids can be horrible.

I would of told her to ignore it and feel proud to be Palace and remind any Leeds fan what league they’re in... We live in different times though these days but fair play to our players for connecting and no doubt making the girl feel better.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Typical social media pity party. Suck it up buttercup. I remember being 13 & going to school the night after a 9-0 drubbing at Anfield....while wearing a Palace shirt with "Virgin" written across my chest!

So times haven’t changed then. If you are in the wrong place at the wrong time you’ll get trouble. Leeds is probably not the best place to wear the Palace colours.

I am bored and usually spend quite a bit in the pub. Noticed this season's shirt is on sale, so bought the away kit. Just thought I'd give the heads up as shirts around 20-30 presently. Home kit is on classic shirts - as advertised here too. I prefer to buy from the club so that they still have some cash flow to pay people.

I'm not really being given that option but nice sentiment. The only businesses open are supermarkets, chemist's and off licences and I'm certainly supporting them.

I remember seeing the back page of the sun on my morning paper round the morning after that game and knowing what a horrible time I’ll be in for at school
