We are blessed to have Roy in charge.

Agreed.

I'm sure we would all love Pep in charge but the issue is not with Roy but the board. Until we have owners willing to make a significant investment we need to be pragmatic. Roy sets his team not to get beat and I don't have a problem with that.

Meanwhile down down on the south coast the other lot are playing Potter ball having spent a fortune how's that working out?

Let's just be happy that we are having one of our best seasons and have never been in danger of relation at any time.

This is a great link, net transfer spending over 5 years, unfortunately it is not sorted by amount. I think we have the 4th lowest spend, Brighton have spent nearly 3 times as much as us.

Well done Roy and the lads.

It is important that Roy stays another year as we need to stabilise and consistency is key at the moment.

If we can transition across the upcoming season and succession plan for a manager who is a good fit then that is paramount as the important thing is we are in the prem.

I would like to enjoy more fluent , exciting football, however Roy has and is doing a sterling job with the tools he has had and has to work with.

If people want Roy gone at this point then next season on here would be even more scitisyfenic than this season. We would struggle as people keep outlining we have an ageing squad, an unbalanced squad and owners who don’t want to spend.

Owners and manager (coaching staff) can start to plan appropriately probably from now moving into the close season and beyond. Identifying potential candidates I expect would have already started in phase 1.

Modern football is a pain to watch, players feigning injury every second, VAR, fans unrealistic expectations and wanting multiply successes in an instant.

A manager has to get the best out of his squad based on their strength that what Roy has done, take a breath and enjoy the rest of the season, warts an all.

This time next year we will be looking at a new era , get behind the club and support the decisions as best you can as we are a premier league club and a respected one at that because of Roy.
