(albeit at both ends)

Warnock's comment always comes to my mind regarding ground atmosphere 'you need the oohs and aahs' which means attempts on goal which we seem bereft of.

I reckon it's less about Palace and more about the way society has gone. People are more likely to be engrossed in their phones than using their voice. People don't sing anymore, we used to go to pubs and have singsongs, we used to go to church and sing a few hymns. Nowadays you go to a gig and people will tell you off for singing because it "ruins their experience". Intro of VAR has even dampened goal celebrations, the one time people still let loose. The robotic age is upon us, and sorry, singing and dancing aint part of it.
