Roy didn't change anything, it was Zaha's goal that changed it, unless your counting the very very late sub of a creative player due to injury,

Meyer came on after 67 minutes and Zaha scored after 76. People around me at the game felt Meyer had an impact.

I've found it beneficial over the years to have my own opinion rather than relying on others!!!

People saying Parish should spend his money, he doesn't have the money to spend, its rumoured he has a wealth of around £40m, that's why he brought the billionaire yanks on, because they do have the capacity to spend into the tens of millions. I think Steve was naive when bringing those guys in, as were we for buying into it.
Roy said in the press conference that Parish is just as desperate as he is for signings and that Roy, Steve and Dougie are basically begging the yanks for funds.
I hope Steve has learnt his lesson from this experience as it's hurting the team.
The sooner the yanks are out the better.
Look at Newcastle, their owner wants to sell but he still invests as he knows if he can get Newcastle higher up the league it opens them up for better investment.

I don't think so. Investors will look at the debt in the club they are looking to buy out and future obligations in terms of balances of transfers still to be paid and how long high earning (and underperforming) players have on their contract.

The USA guys are hoping with the debt gone or massively reduced thanks to the AWB, the small playing squad after the clear out this summer, and more high earners coming to the end of their high paid contracts that Palace represent quite a clean slate to invest on.

A couple of places higher will get a £2m a position so five places gets you a nice £10m but who can you buy for £10m to delivery that increase in quality?

As someone else stated if Joelington has £30m still to pay off in transfer fees and is on £100k a week for years that is going to put investors off. The Longstaff boys are what will bring them in - and the size of their ground.
