Readers of the Palace history book The Origin of Crystal Palace FC will be aware that Volumes 2 and 3 are stuffed-full of fascinating insight into the internal running of club from the official minute-book of the directors' meetings. That minute-book records the management's discussion of club-business from 1905 to 1917, by which date it was full. Steve
Football, like life, isn't about getting what you want or even deserve. It's about appreciating what you have. Crystal Palace. |

"Back in 1919, the Palace minute book contained an entry instructing the Secretary to investigate the possibility of obtaining a lease on the 'ground at Selhurst" -Wikipedia would be lovely if the minute book in question could be located!

Might it be in the archives of the Local History collection at Croydon Central Library? When I was doing some research on 1920s goalkeeper, Billy Callender, they had a fair bit of Palace memorabilia, including newspaper cuttings and ancient match programmes.
