Readers of the Palace history book The Origin of Crystal Palace FC will be aware that Volumes 2 and 3 are stuffed-full of fascinating insight into the internal running of club from the official minute-book of the directors' meetings. That minute-book records the management's discussion of club-business from 1905 to 1917, by which date it was full.
A new minute-book was started in 1917, and this tome still survived in 1969 because a minute from it is cited in Roy Peskett's history of the club published in that year. So, clearly, Roy saw it.
Given that it still existed in 1969, it's likely that it sits on a shelf somewhere today.
Can anyone cast any light on its whereabouts? It would be a fantastic resource for future volumes of the history.
I'll finish this appeal by saying that if your family are asking you for suggestions for your Christmas present, Volumes 1 to 3 are available on ebay.

When I was doing some research on 1920s goalkeeper, Billy Callender, they had a fair bit of Palace memorabilia, including newspaper cuttings and ancient match programmes.
