Heading should read ..Don't blame the striker.

Until we sort out this mess our attacks are going to be much the same, with little activity around opposing defenders due to lack of good support for our one attacker 'Ayew' teams facing us have more options in regards to preventing us from shooting at their goalkeeper, end of story.

In years past I have happily admitted on this site that I don't know much about football. And the un-witty response to that is that that's because I've been following Palace for over 60 years.

But, ignorant or not, I have kept believing that a man who has coached and managed at the highest levels can do a better job with our team than the experts who criticise him. But there have recently been some very constructive and in my opinion sensible - and critical - posts on this thread, and I am at last coming round to the conclusion that Roy has lost it. Whether that's down to his acquiescence in our dreadful transfer market dealings, his coaching, his tactics, or what, I wouldn't care to say.

I think he should tell Parish that he simply can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and that if that's what's required of him, then resign.

Football has moved on. Roy hasn't. It's as simple as that.
