I never complain about our football not being exciting because with our current squad I would be more than happy to stay in this division. My main complaint is our players not being able to simple things like actually pass a football to a team mate and there never being any changes to our starting 11.

You are perfectly correct, not just with this highlighted bit but with everything else you've written.

Whilst I am not advocating gung ho football against Liverpool I would like to see us start to knock teams out of their stride and play further up the field.

To do this you need a younger, fitter, quicker side. The diametric opposite of what Hodgson appears to prefer, with his stodgy team selections.

I feel Mr Hodgson is perfectly aware of his teams limitations and against certain teams it is his team itself who are being made to play that way due to the opposition being so solid and organised take Leicester as a good example we matched them for quite a lot of the game but when it came to the actual business of creating a chance they were able to sustain passes far far more consistently then us in dangerous areas, we are just being outplayed by much better players, defensively we are strong and to score against us teams have to work at it and this is the reason we will survive this season, even Man.C had to work hard to score, against teams with weaker players in them we are able to create enough opportunities to achieve results, Arsenal had weak players and so did West Ham and when they fail to make the most of their opportunities we ahev a good chance, I wish we could be playing Spurs now lol

Ok, I'm intrigued to hear who these younger, fitter, quicker players are ? Are they at the club at the moment ?? Or are you referring to the type of players we should be signing ?? Because Hodgson inherited the majority of the current group and has largely had his hands tied in the transfer market.
