Roy article in the daily mail today about giving an opportunity to academy players with the amount of games coming up. Also maybe won't be so much money to buy with lack of gate income etc.

You make it sound as if there would of been/has been in the past!

Good stuff, hopefully we can pick up 4/5 points in first few games and then give some of the young'uns a chance to prove something.

You never know what could happen, I don't think anyone had seriously planned for the AWB revelation.

 


Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Agree. Academy is priority. English clubs may need to be more prudent and start bringing players through their academies. Chelsea seem capable of fielding a team of graduates and compete for top 4.

I was reading that an empty stadium and the resulting lack of noise would help a youngster , less nerves , makes sense

They have started work on the new academy all ready , Goals has gone , and work on the main building is cracking on
