No, it’s not a good start at all. We won against Man Utd and Villa purely because VAR isn’t doing what it was supposed to do otherwise we would be in the bottom three. We have nobody who looks like they can score a goal and it’s difficult to name many players in our squad who are actually good enough for the Premier League. The only thing that can save us this season is that there are probably three teams worse than us but until Roy goes nothing will change.

In terms of our points scored it is a good start to the season irrespective of how we came to get them. However, I don't think we should allow this to mask some of our deficiencies, particularly our struggle to score goals, and general lack of creativity in midfield.
