Hopefully it won't upset his confidence too much, he is a good solid player to have just needs to be more aware of the dangers when passing around and towards his goal because that was not the first time ..these instances improve players and I'm sure he has learned a lot from this.

He switched off and played a ridiculous ball, but overall he has been pretty good since covering for injured players. I’m not too fussed about what happened yesterday. We were in control till that point and should have been 2 up...

Had a good season so far, bit of a slip yesterday. Burnley player did a similar thing and Mendy for Citeh against Wolves looked far more stupid. You can pay silly money and still get a clown at the back. Overall thought we did well against Soton, who were coming off a decent run and good win at Chelski. Have done well in December after a very difficult run of games where we were going to struggle due to the quality faced. If we can keep the performances at the Dec level we will be fairly comfortable in 2020. COYP !!

Much as I appreciate what he has done for us he has made three terrible errors in the last three games and each has been costly.
Southampton pass back, Norwich - playing their man inside whilst looking across the line and today he let Martins go behind him and failed to clear the ball as it came across.
Very poor right now.

when he plays at centre back he's really good, but at right back he isn't - it's that simple

He looks very uncomfortable and vulnerable at right-back.Hopefully this area will be addressed in the January window and it is vital that he is replaced by a player who is a right-back by trade.

Not vital to the shareholders if they think we’ll survive without having to pay more for a RB than they want to, or pay anything come to that. If it ain’t cheap then it won’t happen.
